Meet Our Team
Executive recruiters built for the built environment.
Human Capital Pursuit was founded in 2013 to provide exceptional and transparent recruiting services to clients in multiple industries. The founders, Steve Holmes and Mike Cash have worked together in the recruiting industry for nearly two decades. With their combined efforts, they have been able to successfully grow and develop recruiting teams, while also expanding their client base.
Principal Recruiter, CEO
Mike is a Principal Recruiter that works with high profile clients in various industries, including:
Architecture and Engineering or A+E.
Mike Cash brings 20 years of experience in mentoring and managing others to help achieve their goals. He enjoys being a part of growing businesses and ideas. He is currently working on a project that deals with alcoholic beverages and technology/web company.
Principal Recruiter, COO
Steve Holmes is a Principal Recruiter to some of the top companies in various industries like:
Oil & Gas.
Steve brings over 24 years of leadership experience to Human Capital Pursuit, having most recently directed a team at a national executive recruiting firm for engineers.
In addition to helping companies secure top talent, Steve helps candidates (both passive and active jobseekers) determine the next best steps for their career and then navigate through the interview process. This ultimately helps the potential candidate secure excellent opportunities for their careers, families, and lifestyle.
Steve has been married to his wife Stacey and they have two children. When Steve is working with his clients or candidates, he enjoys volunteering his time as a board member of Englewood Youth Soccer Association, traveling with his family, enjoying roller coaster rides and craft beer.
A graduate of Cornell University and veteran recruiter with nearly twenty years experience in the field, Alyssa is going on ten years with HCP, and wakes up each day excited to help clients find talent, especially in this competitive market! She's also passionate about animal welfare and works with The Fozzie Company to help feed homeless pets.
Scott recently celebrated his 6 year anniversary with HCP! Before that he spent 4 years with another national recruiting firm. Scott prides himself on being open-minded, straightforward, and always ready to make that ideal match, where both the client and the candidate are thrilled with the outcome.
Ryan has been with HCP for 3.5 years and previously spent 11 years handling national sales in the commercial construction sector working with building product distributors across the country. Ryan loves working closely with clients and candidates alike, finding great satisfaction in finding that perfect fit.
Maureen is often the initial point of contact at HCP and loves nothing more than getting the ball rolling to set clients and candidates up for success. She's been with the company for almost 7 years, lending her HR expertise and project management skills to the goal of placing the best with the best.
Nadia started as an assistant at HCP and swiftly climbed the ranks to become one of our most trusted and valued members of the recruiting team. She enjoys taking time to get to know each client and candidate in order to provide top-notch service and find ideal placement opportunities that hit the mark for both parties.
CFO - (Chief Food Officer)
Snickers has been an integral member of HCP since its inception. She has mastered the art of detecting the smallest morsel of food in the most far-reaching corners of the office. You can find her trotting around in search of her next delicious snack while simultaneously offering under-desk nose nudges of encouragement. Her side-eye glares at lunch time are enough to make a grown man fall to his knees and offer up his entire meal in exchange for the tiniest bit of sweet puppy love. She is a great resource for local restaurant recommendations, as she has sampled much of the cuisine on her daily walks around town. Her favorite work day past times include napping and dreaming the day away under her dad’s desk, afternoon walks on the Legacy Trail, lunch outings with the company and leading Monday morning meetings from under the conference table. You can find her relaxing in one of her many sunbeam spots or taking up at least one half of her parents’ king size bed at home. For inquiries, please submit your top treats and Snickers will be in touch if your offering is deemed worthy of a meeting.
